About Me

My photo
Coronado, CA, United States
My son Seth Fisher was a brilliant comic book artist. I was always maybe what you might call a Sunday artist. I did artwork for other people when they needed it; I did our family Christmas cards; but not much else. I never particularly challenged myself, or stretched my abilities. Then when Seth died in 2006, I realized that I had wasted my God-given gifts. It was time to put them into service. For 3 years or so I did a blog on Seth's website (I still post something there from time to time). In the course of examining his work and writing about it, I started to understand just how GOOD it is, in many different ways. This new understanding was both a challenge and an encouragement to me from Seth, who always tried to encourage other artists to be the best they could be. He also always tried to get me to learn more, to do more. Finally, little by little, I am doing it.
